Criminal defense has been a part of my life for years. I’ve spent nearly 30 years practicing law, beginning my career as a prosecutor in 1998. That experience gave me a firsthand understanding of how cases are built, and, just as importantly, how they can be challenged.
After my time as a prosecutor, I worked within a DUI-focused firm, gaining deep experience in one of the most technically and nuanced areas of criminal law. Over time, I set out and built my own practice, where I’ve spent more than a decade representing individuals charged with crimes across South Florida.
Today, my focus is simple: to represent people facing criminal charges. Whether it’s a DUI or another offense, I understand what’s at stake, and I take that responsibility seriously.

If there’s one thing clients want, it’s clarity. They want to understand what’s happening, what their options are, and what comes next. This is only understandable—it’s their life, after all.
This is why I focus on being responsive and accessible. I intentionally take the time to listen, answer questions, and explain the process to them in a way that they understand. My job is to go to the prosecutor and demonstrate one of two things: either they don’t have enough evidence to prove their charges, or the situation isn’t what it appears to be. In some cases, that means pushing for a dismissal. In others, it means negotiating a resolution that avoids jail time or reduces the impact of the charge on my client’s life.
And when the evidence is there, we address that head-on, strategically and realistically.
No two cases are the same. That’s why every defense has to be built around the facts, the law, and the person involved.
